Introducing a custom indigo dyed hand block printed T-shirts!
We start with the blank white shirt. Then we print a clay resist stamp, to block out the future design area.
Next the shirt is hand dipped numerous times into a natural plant indigo vat until desired shade of blue is achieved.
Then, rinsing, washing, rinsing, and wringing through a hand crank wringer.
Next to air dry in the sun. After that we stamp a hand blocked multi color design onto that white background that did not get blue, because of resist. And finally iron.
A lot of work to produce one of a kind garment.
Please do not use harsh chemical or bleach to preserve natural ink and dyes.
